Wow, that’s a lot of ignorance you’re choosing to accuse me of being guilty of.

You’ve also completely missed my point.

If a flag is a symbol, then a symbol can be used by people both to make a positive point (e.g., waving it around and proclaiming their adherence to it) and to make a negative point (e.g., expressing dissatisfaction with the ideals perceived to be represented by the flag).

Conversely the people who burn the flag are just foolish, as you could easily say by your implied summary in your third paragraph. The protest used the flag in one way.

Thereby as you say, let us not get angry. Let us not get upset with foolish people who do such things, let us just see them as foolish people. Maybe make this a public point in response instead of immediately siding with them, or do you subscribe to always siding with foolishness.

Using fear as a ‘classic’ excuse to discourage a persons own feelings of such a complex construct is slightly naive and shows lack of depth to understanding of human history, identity, psyche and mentality of a nation.

Then you also to try an educate and raise awareness in how silly it might be to get upset with burning a flag. Yet by doing so you are both watering down the foolish people’s reactionary objective you’d hope for people to understand and also divert the issue at hand.

What a contradiction. Grow up.

It was technically a crime in his day. But part of the healing process must be to acknowledge that the definition of homosexuality as a crime back then was ill-considered and inappropriate.

I’ve got a question for you.

You say that Corinthians 6:9-10 states that ‘homosexuals’ will not inherit the kingdom of god.

You literally quoted the word ‘homosexual’.

This is a complete falsehood – the word was not actually created until the 1800s.

So, what was the original word that has been interpreted to be homosexuals?
