One of the more popular treatments at spas and retreats these days are mud baths. You know what a mud bath is, right? You pay hundreds to jump in a gooey mess for a while and then have someone hose you down with some industrial cleaner that strips away both the mud, and the outer three layers of your epidermis?
There is, to me, great irony in the fact that some people pay hundreds of dollars to do what kids will do naturally. Not only that, they’d subsequently come home from the mud bath to find that their kids had been playing in mud and got some clothes dirty, then send them to bed without any supper for being going and getting in the mud…
If they’d just skip the spa, they could have played in the mud with their kids, saved a few hundred dollars and no-one would get in trouble.
